Meet the Team – Josh Miles

Josh really enjoys the hands-on aspects of his job, as well as having his own clients. Obviously given the COVID-19 situation, the normal housekeeping conducted on-site is being conducted virtually.

Josh really enjoys being on-site and seeing the customers face to face, as well as being at account management meetings.

Josh started off at CIS as a junior engineer. He was interested in IT all through school and he went on to do it at GCSE and at college. He then completed an apprenticeship at a school before wanting to move onto something more challenging, which is when he applied to CIS. He was interviewed by Matt Grantham, and the rest is history!

Josh loves the atmosphere in the CIS office, and always being able to have a laugh with his colleagues.

Josh is proud of the fact that he has progressed from junior engineer to systems engineer, and he hopes to progress in the future to the position of senior engineer.

Josh has found it a smooth transition to working from home, despite the fact he is working from his bedroom! He is glad CIS was ahead of the game in terms of being prepared for this period of remote working, having run a few trial days before lockdown was implemented.
